Prajna Live | Yoga for the QL | Online Practice

One of the most important muscles to stabilize the low back is called the Quadratus Lumborum. People who suffer low back pain compression, inevitably have a tight QL. A foreshortened QL can pull the ribs out of place, create scoliosis in the spine and cause the pelvis to jack upward. In this class we practice a series of poses designed to free restrictions in the QL including twists, side bends and light back arches.
Have your props handy! We recommend a block, blanket, bolster, belt (and chair if you have access to one).
